What does Clients Pro do?
The Clients Pro plugin provides you with the flexibility to allow clients into wProject, with specific access conditions that you can tailor to your needs.
Options Available:
Project Access
- Limited: By default, clients will only have access to projects in which they have tasks. This is the recommended setting.
- Unlimited: Clients will have access to all projects. Exercise caution, especially with sensitive information.
- Specific: Define which projects clients can access in their user profiles. This option allows access to defined projects as well as those with existing tasks.
Capability
Clients can:
- Create and edit their own tasks.
- Create tasks for others.
- Comment on tasks and pages if comments are enabled.
- View project info, team page, and tasks owned by others.
- Access pages.
Clients cannot:
- Access reports.
- Manage a project.
- View task details that don’t belong to them, except those listed in projects they’re involved in.
How do I add a client?
Adding a client is straightforward. Navigate to Users -> Add new, and fill in the necessary information. Ensure the role is set to Client.
Plugin Deactivation
If the plugin is deactivated, all clients will be locked out until reactivation.
License Key
Enter your license key by clicking on Clients Pro in the WordPress admin menu.
Where are the settings?
After activating your license key, go to wProject settings, and you’ll find Clients Pro under the Pro Addons heading.
One-Time Payment or Annual Subscription?
The choice is yours. Renewal after twelve months is optional. Without renewal, the product will continue to function but won’t receive updates or support.
